Description: 

As a sitework subcontractor, BOSS completed temporary erosion and sediment control, selective site demolition, dewatering, earthwork, clearing and grubbing, and hauling of neary 150,000 cubic yards of clay and soil to reclaim an off-site gravel pit.

Skagit Highlands - Phases 1 and 2

Description: 

Development and infrastructure work associated with Skagit Highlands master planned community. Included clearing and grubbing of 200 acres, excavation and placement of 784,720 cubic yards of material, 26,758 linear feet of storm drain, 15,975 linear feet of water line and 19,219 linear feet of sewer main. Our work also included the installation of franchise utilities, curb and gutter and asphalt paving.

Description: 

On this project, BOSS acted as a subcontractor to remove approximately 100,000 yards of on-site material. The material was removed by scraping and/or top loading the scrapers, then placing, compacting and grading to build a sewer lagoon.

Juneau Fish Creek Pit Development

Description: 

During the Douglas Harbor Uplands and Moorage Expansion project, we were given the option to develop a city-owned pit for use on the project. BOSS cleared and stripped the pit, blasted basalt rock, then sorted, crushed, processed and developed all of the material needed to complete the Douglas Harbor project. The products ranged from 3/4" minus to larger rip rap.
